Disappearing Disney Classics

The 411 on the Disney Vault….

If you haven’t already realized some of Disney’s animated movies are only available to purchase for a limited time. Then they are “put in the vault”, which means that you can’t buy them in retail stores for purchase until Disney once again liberates them from the confines of the vault, usually so another generation can enjoy them!

New 2 Box Cheerios Packaging

One of our stops every month is to the warehouse club. Even though there are only 3 of us in our family, there are certain things it just pays to buy in bulk.

In our home one of those things is cereal. Specifically Cheerios. Every time we go we buy a warehouse box. I always had to empty them into another container though when we got home because the bags and the boxes were just too big to store as is.

We’ve been a little ‘nuts’ around here this past week, and not just because my parents came to visit us. (JOKING MOM, joking!) Actually we’ve been eating snack nuts packed full of nutrition, healthy fats and fiber.

Crest and Oral-B Pro-Health Clinical Test Drive #CrestSponsored

About a month ago I let you all know that I was going to be doing a Test Drive for some of Crest and Oral-B’s new Pro-Health Clinical products. I knew to expect good quality items as we use Crest in our home all the time, but I wasn’t sure if it would be ‘better’ than the Crest/Oral-B products we currently use.

One of the benefits of the Crest and Oral-B Pro-Clinical Plaque Control products is that they are supposed to give you that clean feeling you have when you go to the dentist.

Dad to the Rescue for Small Home Fixes

My parents are visiting this week to help us celebrate our daughter’s 16th birthday on Wednesday.

I love it when my Dad comes along with my Mom because he’s one of those guys that always needs to be doing something. So when we know he’s coming we save up all those little ‘fixes’ that need to be done around our home so he can be occupied while he’s here.

Weight Watchers Endorsed Green Giant Boxed Vegetables ~ Give Away

When people first meet me it’s unusual if they don’t make a comment on how tiny I am. I’m quite petite at only 4’9” in height and I weigh about 100 pounds (give or take depending on what time of the year it is LOL!). But it wasn’t always that way. I mean yeah I’ve always been short, but I wasn’t always that small weight wise. I tipped the scales at about 130 pounds at one point, and at 4’9”…that was definitely overweight for that height.

Don’t Panic Cookbook

Even though my family is picky when it comes to food, I like to try a new recipe every couple of weeks. I never really know whether it will go over well on the table, but every once in a while I’ll find a recipe that ends up being a keeper. That’s cause for excitement when I’m the only one that’s ‘free-spirited’ and willing to shake up the food routine!

Despite all the recipes I cook and create, I’m not really a good meal planner, I get in these moods where I try to, but that may last a few weeks and then I start forgetting to do it and before I know it…it’s shopping day again.
