Planters, America’s favorite snack nut brand has teamed up with Men’s Health, the world’s largest men’s magazine, to create Planters NUT•rition Men’s Health Recommended Mix, specifically designed with the nuts men want.
The new mix features three nuts – almonds, peanuts, and pistachios and is a heart healthy snack.
Planter NUT•rition Men’s Health comes in two sizes; Can: 10.25oz – $6.99 (srp) and as single serve packs (available both in a multipack of six or by itself) 1.5oz – $1.49 for one $6.99 (srp) for six. They are available nationwide at most grocery, mass and drugstore chains, and convenience stores.
I asked my husband to try these and let me know what he thinks of them. He brought the multipack single serve to work with him so that he could have a snack available to him during his work day.
He felt there was enough in the 1.5oz single serve pack to give him some extra energy during that afternoon “slump” and tide his hunger over until the dinner hour. He also thought they tasted pretty good too.
1 oz serving of Planters NUT•rition Men’s Health Recommended MixA one ounce serving of Nut•rition Men’s Health has six grams of protein, six vitamins and minerals including Antioxidant Vitamin E, Niacin, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Copper, and Manganese and is a good source of fiber.
If as a wife or girlfriend it’s your mission to get your significant other to eat healthier, it’s important to give our men healthier options and an original, creative and unconventional way to do that is to ‘gift’ it to them.
Father’s Day is coming up, and Planter’s NUT•rition Men’s Health Recommended Mix would make a great addition to a gift basket for dad, along with some of the things he enjoys doing to relax. They’d make a great complement to this Booze Infused Jerky Gift Box from The Manly Man Company®.
Whether it’s golf, football, racing or reading, he can snack while he has his down time, and because nuts and jerky are so portable (especially the single serving pouches), he can take them with him on the go to.
