I like to change up what one normally does with ‘instant’ foods. Making things from scratch has never been my strong suit, but coming up with new ways to use pre-made products, that’s something I really enjoy doing.
Rather than just eat cinnamon buns made from the tube dough – how about some scrumptious Cinnamon Sticks?!
Cinnamon Roll Sticks

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place a sheet of parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
Using 1 package (8 rolls) of the tubed cinnamon rolls, use the heel of your palm to flatten out each cinnamon roll a bit.

Then roll it up as you would a tortilla or a jelly roll. Take the dough piece and make about a 5” stick with it by rolling it between your hands (remember when you used to make snakes out of play-doh….yeah just like that!).

Now bake the cinnamon roll sticks between 8 to 10 minutes.
Drizzle the icing that came with the package over top of each stick, shake on sprinkles if desired.

These are a little easier for little hands to eat than a cinnamon roll, and make a nice addition to a ‘treat’ tray for tea time or parties. Try using different icings and sprinkles to make them festive for holiday occasions.
