Make a Winter Wonderland With Your Kids in the Kitchen – #BlogEats
Without a doubt my favorite part of the BlogEats conference was the Blogger Recipe Challenge.
We were divided up into 4 teams by choosing spatulas with numbers on them and given a mission to make a holiday dessert using any or all of the following Kraft Foods ingredients; OREO Cookies, Planters Peanut Butter and/or Jell-O Chocolate or Vanilla Instant Pudding.
Peanut Butter Gingerbread Cookie Balls Recipe

While I was at the Kraft Innovations Kitchen BlogEats conference I got to eat a lot of food. A LOT! They provided us with recipes for all the fun things they made and one of the recipes was for OREO-Pumpkin Cookie Balls,
Yummy Monkey Bread Recipe – #BlogEats
This is undoubtedly the most delicious Monkey Bread I have ever had. This Monkey Bread recipe made such an impression, that the bloggers that went to BlogEats last year, were talking about it the night before already!
Skillet Bacon-Feta Frittata Recipe – #BlogEats
I generally don’t go all out for breakfast in our home. I did make Pecan Sticky Buns and Banana Bread last week, but that’s unusual. It’s every man for himself for that meal, and usually for me that means cereal or toast.
At the BlogEats Conference the Kraft Innovation Kitchen served up a number of dishes for us, using their product lines
Salty Marbled Chocolate-Peanut Butter Brownies & Chocolate Bacon Crunch Recipes – #BlogEats
So this is the marvelous dessert we got treated to on the evening of our arrival for the BlogEats Conference put on by Kraft Foods.
Oktoberfest Brownie Trifle
One of my favorite German dishes is Sauerkraut with Pork Hocks (my mom is a master at that!), and while I know many eat it on brats – who knew there were so many other things to do with sauerkraut?
So Krrrrisp Kraut wanted to see what I could do with a bag of sauerkraut and using their recipe inspiration of Sauerkraut Brownies, I made an Oktoberfest Brownie Trifle
Strawberry Rhubarb Zinfandel Crepes – Disney’s Art of Entertaining
Here’s the dessert we got to see being made from the Pastry Chef aboard the Disney Wonder. These would make an awesome brunch dish as well!
Herb Seared Halibut with Potato Ragout – Disney’s Art of Entertaining
One of the neat things on sea days that Disney Cruise Line offers is a series of demonstrations called “Art of Entertaining”. On our Alaskan cruise my mom and I attended three of these where some of the head chefs on the ship showed us how to make main courses, appetizers and desserts and then we got to taste them!
Iced Caramel Coffee Recipe
While I was in Alaska – I got the news about the Folgers “What’s Brewing?” event that is happening on Facebook. I could have used a couple of those new products while I was away…
Penelope’s Delicious and Low Fat Potato Salad
We are super healthy around here, from what we eat to how we live, so I’ve never a big fan of traditional potato salads that include mayo or heavy dairy products (too fattening and not everyone can eat them).
