Can you believe that it is October already?!!  The year is just racing by!  This month as part of Master Lock’s Live Secure Safety Squad, I made a vlog showing things that we do in fall that keep our family safe because we keep our home secure.

It’s pretty short, just over 3 minutes, but it may give you some ideas on things that you can do around your home for your family’s saftey. 

With just recently having moved from a small city where if you left your garage door open all night you didn’t have to worry too much to a large metroplex of 6,000,000 people where they probably record more crimes in a day than there were people living in our previous city; it’s no wonder that I’m even more concerned about safety than I used to be. I think we live in a pretty safe neighborhood, but since we’re just getting to know our community and haven’t made any local friends yet, we don’t really have any one to trust as of yet to watch out for our place when we go away.

Well we’re finally in Texas!  And one of the first boxes I made sure we unpacked was the one that had all our Master Locks in it.  Since Back-to-School is quickly approaching I made a vlog sharing three of my favorite locks.  You can watch it below.  Then make sure you finish reading the post so I can tell you about our mover’s experience with Master Lock.

If the general public isn’t aware that Back to School is going to be happening for some of us at the end of August, they’ll just have to walk into any retail store in about two weeks and it will be pretty apparent.

Well I don’t know how many of you made a New Year’s resolution, but I usually don’t only because I know that I probably won’t follow through with it! This year I decided to actually make one. Just one though, that way I won’t have so much pressure to actually stick to more than one.
