With the Master Lock Vault, users can save passwords, user names, combination codes and other important documents for easy access online or on the go. Users can use templates to store data, digital duplicates of passports, wills, tax returns and other critical documents you can’t afford to lose. With a 256-bit encryption, authentication controls and 24/7 monitoring, information will never be safer!

What’s even better is that the Master Lock dialSpeed is the first electronic combination lock to have connectivity to the online application, among other products as well. From primary codes to guest codes and 22 million combinations, the dialSpeed and other combination locks may sometimes be hard to remember. You can easily enter your product code into the Master Lock Vault and if you ever forget your code, it will offer a back up code to unlock your lock when you need it most. I received and did a review of the dialSpeed lock in August on my blog for back-to-school, and so at that time when I received my dialSpeed I set up my Master Lock Vault account.

The thought of forgetting and not being able to access my passwords if I need them on the go, gives me the heebie jeebies. See I have a secure way to store them at home, but if I need them when I’m elsewhere or traveling, for some of the websites I need to access or information I might need, the passwords are too complex for me to just “remember.”  It’s also great for those log-ins and passwords you use infrequently.  For me one that I have trouble remembering is my library log-in.  I mostly need that one when traveling and I want to borrow an e-book to read.  I can simply log-in to my Master Lock Vault to retrieve it and then proceed to log-in on the library website.  Easy peasy!

The Master Lock Vault does more than just store your passwords, documents and lock codes though, you can also set up reminders and lists that can be e-mailed or texted to you. Another way of using the ‘Vault’ is for “Get Help” which is the place to organize critical data for emergency use or simple daily convenience.

It’s easy to set yourself up with your own Master Lock Vault and a basic account is free to all which includes 1GB of storage space for your backup documents. If you find you like the service and need more storage, there are upgrades that you can pay for.

To get a ‘Vault’ just register with your name, e-mail, birthdate and set up a log-in name and password (an 8 to 12 digit number…which yes, you’ll have to remember to access your other passwords. But better needing to remember only one then dozens!). Then you’ll choose a picture and phrase of your own choosing which will display each time you log-in to verify that you are on the actual Master Lock Vault log-in screen.

Once you sign-up, inputting your passwords, uploading your documents and organizing your information is easy and intuitive.

Master Lock Vault users also benefit from the same security measures with the smartphone app to get access right at your fingertips.

I downloaded the iOS app and use it on my iPhone and I’m so glad that if I have to get at something from a secure website when I’m on the go I can, but one thing you’ll have to note with the app is that you still need internet access of some kind, either a cellular data connection or wi-fi to access the information in your Master Lock Vault.  That may not be an issue for most phone users with a data plan, but may effect those that use devices that only have wi-fi.

If you have yet to sign up for a service like this, why not give Master Lock’s Vault a try?  It doesn’t cost anything, and it will help you live secure safely!

I was provided the opportunity over the course of a number of months to be a Master Lock Live Secure Safety Squad Ambassador. I received products courtesy of Master Lock, but the opinions in this review and any others as part of this program are 100% mine. Published by Tammy Litke.

Master Lock is providing a dialSpeed lock (like the one shown above in this post) for giveaway to one of my readers. This is one of the Master Lock products that you can register in a Master Lock Vault so that you can access the lock even if you forget the password you input into it.
