Well we’re finally in Texas! And one of the first boxes I made sure we unpacked was the one that had all our Master Locks in it. Since Back-to-School is quickly approaching I made a vlog sharing three Master Lock products. You can watch it below. So I wish I had pictures or video of the ‘mover’s incident,’ but I don’t., I just had a picture of the truck before they loaded our stuff up in South Dakota. In any case on Tuesday morning when the movers came to drop off our goods in Texas they found out they locked the keys to their Master Lock padlock inside the compartment they were trying to open (the one with all their tools and stuff).
My husband gave them a hammer we found to try and slam it off, but no go – that lock held fast.
There were some guys working next door and they let the movers borrow a power hacksaw to try and remove it. Even with that it took them quite awhile to saw it off! Now you know why Master Lock’s motto is “Tough Under Fire”!

I like that combo lock for lockers too. I have so many of those around here that I can't remember the combinations for though. There has to be a way to figure them out, but I don't know what it is!
The backpack lock would be great!
I like the kind of locks that have a code. Just seems so much easier to me to open them that way.
What a great job you did with your vlog. We love Master locks. I remember having my own for high school and I think it's great they are still around for my own teen.

It's good to hear how tough these locks are. The longer thieves are slowed down the less likely they are to succeed.

I'm so glad you got there, even if there was a mishap! My son's only in preschool but the storage security cash box is an awesome product- I used to have to use one at work & I have been thinking about getting something like that for our important documents.
I carry a Masterlock in my gym bag and use it to secure my belongings every single day while I workout. I've had it for about six months and it still looks brand spankin new!
I dont' have any locks LOL but when my son had PE he had a masterlock
Oh, my goodness — that's hilarious (now — I'm sure it wasn't then) that they locked the key in the truck!!!
Love that the cashbox has a combination lock. That could really come in handy.
Your vlog was great! I love the idea of a backpack lock and it seems really compact. I like that you can attach it to a zipper.
