Oh how I long for the lazy days of summer again.  Even though we aren’t in the stage of a ‘traditional’ school year any more, it seems that our schedule and activities still follows one.  I really thought that with sending our daughter to college and being empty nesters that we’d have more down time and relaxed meals.  But between blog events, church activities and social gatherings, it seems that two or three nights a week minimum, I need to get a quick meal on the table before we head out the door.

I don’t know if you’ve ever had tooth sensitivity at all, but I have a couple of spots in my mouth that given the chance I could complain about a lot when it comes to the pain that occurs when I eat or drink something really cold, or when I go to the dentist.

Not many couples in this day and age can say that they’ve hit the 50 year mark in marriage.  To have parents that model such commitment to each other has been a great resource in my own marriage.
