Are you ready for STAR WARS day?  Every year on May the Fourth (…be with you), fans all over the world celebrate our favorite sci-fi saga.  This year, we want you to feel the Force with Hasbro toys and games based on the wildly popular ANGRY BIRDS STAR WARS mobile game from Rovio Entertainment.  These innovative toys and games capture all the launching nad destroying fun of the app in physical form, featuring your favorite STAR WARS characters re-imagined as high-flying ANGRY BIRDS and villainous pigs.

When it comes to the house hunting game, we’ve got some specific wants.  I want to live in a safe neighborhood and have a decent kitchen and a guest room.  My husband wants the house to be close to his work, have a small yard, an office and a large shower.  When you put all those things together the list of available homes in our price range shrinks.  It’s a conundrum on which one to give up to have the rest, as we want all of them!

I’m sure by now you’ve heard of  monthly subscription boxes.  They come in all kinds from pets, beauty, tech, gaming and food.  These boxes are a great way to try items you wouldn’t necessarily buy on your own, and find new brands to love and items to share with your family and friends.  When Green fork-N-spoon, who curates organic/non-GMO monthly subscription snack boxes, asked if they could send me a box to review, I was excited to see what would be included!

Earlier this month as part of the Master Lock Live Secure Safety Squad, I shared with you some bike safety tips.  I’m keeping on that theme, with a review of one of their products that will help to keep your bike secure: 8170D Steel U-Lock.

Did you know that 47.6% of people have either had their bike stolen or know someone that has had their bike stolen?  Or that 32.5% of people do not lock up their bike at all when they’re on the go?

I love candles.  I love the way they look when they’re lit, the patterns they cast in the room when the night comes rolling in.  Even more so I love scented ones that fill the room with smells of baked goodness, fresh crispness or floral beauty.  But for all the enjoyment I get out of candles, there’s a risk to burning them, especially if you have small children or pets in your home.

Well I said yesterday, that the upcoming spring/summer season was going to be movie theater going time with all the entertaining movies coming out…I guess so will fall and winter LOL!  This year has some big line ups.  Another one by Disney coming in November is Thor: The Dark World.

Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself.

I have a feeling you’re going to see a lot of upcoming movie posts on my blog in the next few months!  I’m so excited about seeing a lot of these movies.  We’re not big outdoorsy people, so movies are one of our primary sources of entertainment.

Pretzels and crackers are two snacks that you’ll find in our home at all times.  My whole family enjoys noshing away on crunchy salty snacks.  And then we were introduced to Pretzel Crisps®.  Not quite a pretzel, not quite a cracker – it’s unique!  A pretzely cracker – a crackery pretzel… whatever you call it, well it’s worth celebrating National Pretzel Day with (which happens to be today by the way).

Or wait — if it’s not quite a pretzel… maybe it should have it’s own day?
