Qoileez! Review & Giveaway
As you may or may not have noticed , I’ve been blogging a lot about our upcoming move this year. We’ve been slowly packing up our boxes, and I want to make sure that everything is done in an organized way. That’s pretty easy with the basic stuff, but when we started tackling our office space, all the small parts and cords for our tech gadgets looked pretty overwhelming. Last week I was sent something that is a fabulous idea for keeping all those cords from getting tangled up.
A Graduation Party with Dunkin’ Donuts Seasonal Coffees
Our daughter’s best friend graduated high school over the weekend, and since she is literally like another daughter to us, I wanted to help her mom out with the open house party she had planned.
Good Cook Touch Whisks Review & Roast Beef Mozzarella Toasted Sandwich
Every time I see a recipe that requires me to whisk something, I groan a bit inside. It has something to do with the fact that I hugely lack in upper body strength, and after a few twirls around the bowl my arms are tired. Sad, I know!
So when I was sent these Good Cook Touch Whisks to review as part of the Good Cook Touch Hunt, I was hoping that they would make whisking easier…
Not Too Late for Mother’s Day ~ Magazines.com Subscription (Giveaway)
One of the biggest resources I use when it comes to my blogging are magazines. They are by far the biggest source of inspiration for my recipes. I have amassed a rather large collection of them, and my husband is already trying to get me to part with them before we move.
If you haven’t gotten your mom a Mother’s Day gift yet…it’s not too late!
S’mores Iced Coffee Featuring Maxwell House Single Serve Cups
I grew up in a home full of coffee drinkers and I started drinking coffee when I was 15. But now I live in a home where I’m the only coffee drinker and brewing a whole pot of coffee (or even half a pot) for little ole me, just doesn’t make sense. Not because I wouldn’t drink half a pot (or a whole one at that), but because I like my coffee brewed fresh.
And this is my solution…
EPIC Film (Giveaway)
As a Fandango Family Room parent blogger, movies are going to become a big part of our year! And I’m so excited to see EPIC since we’ve really enjoyed the animation and story lines of the Ice Age movies and Rio.
EPIC kicks off the summer movie season on May 24th, 2013!
EPIC has it all – Samurai-like action and warriors, incredible aerial battles, laugh out loud humor and an adventure that will transport you to a hidden, rich and beautiful world, unlike any you’ve seen before.
Iron Man 3 Review and a Cafe Press Giveaway
Tuesdays after release day are generally the days we go to the movie theater to see new movies. Between my husband being off work Tuesday to Thursday since he works weekends and homeschooling, it allows us to take advantage of matinée pricing and empty theaters!
Today we hit the theaters to see Iron Man 3. I’ve heard mixed reviews from those that have already seen it, but we liked it. As the third movie in the series I was wondering if it would live up to its two predecessors, and I think it did.
Stackable Appetizer Maker Giveaway
The Stackable Appetizer Maker lets mom create her favorite layered appetizers in a matter of minutes!
This is a unique kitchen gadget made by Architec. I had never heard of this product before I was asked to review it. I was sent a Stackable Appetizer Maker to use in my kitchen and after watching the video (which you can see below), I was ready to try my hand at wowing my family with a fun treat.
Mother’s Day Math Tips
Families everywhere will be putting together their best ideas for how to celebrate Mother’s Day with Mom. Whether heading out to brunch, visiting a flower garden, or having a family day at home, moms (and dads!) can engage their children in fun, recreational math during their celebratory activities, says Laura Overdeck, a mother of three and founder of the national non-profit organization Bedtime Math.
Several of Laura’s best ideas for Mother’s Day math fun are below.
Green fork-N-spoon Snack Box Giveaway
Earlier this week, I shared a review of the Green fork-N-spoon’s monthly subscription organic/non-GMO snack box.
And now they want me to give away a box to one lucky reader!
