Febreze CAR ~ Breathe Happy

Last October when we drove down to Texas, there were plenty of times we needed the air conditioner on – if only just to take the humidity out of the vehicle. The first time my husband turned it on, I had to stop to catch my breath.

It smelled like…

Big G Retro Give Away

We’ve been purging in our home lately, and as we were digging through the depths of plastic tote bins, the musty smell of the 80’s assaulted our noses. If someone told me that something good from the 80’s was coming back, I wouldn’t have seen it working, it almost never does.

But I’m finding myself occupied with the Big G cereals and Atari’s ‘Retro’ roots, with classic packaging on the boxes and video games like Asteroids, Missile Command, and Centipede. Uh-Oh!

Nokia Lumia 710 ~ I Am Now Officially Connected. All. The. Time.

Quite surprising to most people that know my family – we have never owned “real” cell phones. By that I mean ones that we actually ‘use’.

About 10 years ago we bought a Tracfone for me to have for emergency purposes. That’s all we ever used it for. So it sat at the bottom of my purse most of the time, and was brought out on occasion if the school called me to get Amber when she wasn’t feeling well.

Disney’s Baby Einstein Sea Dreams Soother Crib Toy Vlog

Certain products just don’t do well to written reviews. You have to ‘see’ the product in action to truly get a feel for if you’d consider purchasing it …or not.

Last week, I got a Baby Einstein Sea Dreams Soother Crib Toy in the mail for review. Which I think would be a fantastic gift to give to a new mom or add to your registry.

Kidlandia Review and Give Away

I have never seen a site quite like Kidlandia before.  Considering kids often think that they are the center of the universe, it’s fitting to create products that essentially do just that!

Review: Fairy Tales Hair Care

The Rosemary Repel line, as well as the Tear Free, Detangling, and Styling line of Fairy Tales Hair Care products, were created in the Fairy Tales Salon in Hewlett, NY. Interestingly enough, they kept their “secret recipe” under wraps until 1999 when they decided to launch the hair care line nationally.

It’s not a coincidence that these products make children’s hair soft and manageable, as they contain Vitamins A,B and E and passion flower, aloe, and jojoba.

X Out Test Drive ~ Pre- Treatment

If you have a teenager in your home you know the hormones in their body effect everything from their skin to their attitude. The quicker my teen can get something done that she isn’t fond of doing the better, for both her…and me!

Tex-Mex Lasagna

Okay I know that “technically” lasagna in itself means that the dish was made with lasagna noodles, but I like the sound of Tex-Mex Lasagna better than Taco Pie, and it’s my blog so I’m calling it that!

The original recipe came from Kraft Foods (disclosure that I’m an official Kraft Foods Blogger – I didn’t get anything to make this recipe though, just so you know).

I Wanted Bunk Beds

Photo Credit: Taber Andrew BainSometimes I wish I could have frozen time, somewhere between the ages of seven and eight. You know that time where if your parents would have let you decorate your bedroom any way you wanted to, with money being no object, and you would have chosen to put twin bunk beds in your room.

It makes me a little sad that I never had a set growing up. I mean, my sister and I shared a room back at that age, and we had twin beds.
