X Out Test Drive ~ Pre- Treatment

If you have a teenager in your home you know the hormones in their body effect everything from their skin to their attitude. The quicker my teen can get something done that she isn’t fond of doing the better, for both her…and me!

When Amber got her braces on, it was a struggle to get her to brush properly around all those brackets and wires. 3+ times a day for three minutes at a time…you’d think we were running her through a grueling obstacle course by making her do that.

When the pimples started showing up and I got her a three step system, it didn’t last long before she wasn’t doing it every day. When I asked her why, it was because it took too long.

Since the tooth brushing was more important to me than the skin care routine – it was a battle that wasn’t worth fighting. So I got her some of those astringent face pads and called it a day. At the very least I hoped those would get the surface dirt off her face.

X Out is the new “1 Step” Acne Treatment from the makers of Proactiv. It can be used as a face wash, spot treatment or mask, and from start to finish your teen can have their skin care routine done in as little as two minutes.

When we received the box in our home last week, Amber was right away intrigued by it. The packaging is made for teens and she cracked up with the instructions.

The X Out comes in a tube that has a 30-day supply, the kit we received also came with a bonus body cleansing bar for shower use (back, chest area, neck etc.).

For some teens (like mine) even two minutes can seem like an eternity. X Out knows their audience well – so they put a QR code on the bottle that teens can access using their iTouches or Smart Phones and watch short two minute videos tailored to their interests. That should make the time go a little quicker, right?!

So Amber let me take a few pictures of her skin so that we can compare before and after using X Out. Let’s see if this ridiculously easy treatment works!
