For After School #HotPocketSnacks Are a Yummy Choice for Both Kids & Adults ~ #CBias

Just because we homeschool doesn’t mean that when school is done we don’t have that “after school snack” craving. Actually we probably need it more than anyone, because we’ll often forget to break for lunch! When the afternoon rolls around and we’re done for the day, sometimes we’re starved .

A product that is in our grocery cart nearly every week are Nestlé’s Hot Pockets. They are our go to, back to school snacks or dinner especially when we’re busy, because they’re easy to make and they taste great.

Tempt Your Senses with Chocolate Covered Cherry Popcorn ~ #TemptYourSenses #CBias

There’s nothing more welcoming than to walk into a home and have it smell like fresh baking. It doesn’t just #TemptYourSenses but it also is comforting. It’s a well known tip to bake often when your home is on the market, as the scent seems to make potential buyers more easily feel like the home could be theirs.

It’s a good thing then that I received a couple of Renuzit Tempting Indulgences in the mail to use at home, because we are currently trying to sell it! With scents like Crème Brulee and Chocolate Covered Cherries lingering in my home,

Caramel Crème Mocha Shake #IcedDelight Recipe ~ #CBias #SocialFabric

So last Friday amid an extremely busy day I made a stop at Sam’s Club to check out the International Delight Mocha Iced Coffee.  This past weekend if you were at your Sam’s Club you may have had demo overload!  So many things to try and taste in the store.  I love the Sam’s tag line of ‘sample.shop.save’ , because it’s true I’m more apt to buy something new if I get a chance to try it before I buy it.

Silk Fruit&Protein Smoothie Recipes #CBias #SilkFruit

In case you didn’t listen to your mom when you were little “breakfast is the most important meal of the day”. And while I’m not the best at making sure my family always gets it; protein is an important part of breakfast, because it keeps you full until the next snack or meal.

If you’re a regular blog reader than you’ll know that a while back I did a review on Silk Fruit&Protein here on my site. Well today I’m going to share a couple of smoothie recipes that I concocted using two of the flavors they offer, Mango Peach and Strawberry Banana.

#DialNutriskin for Smooth Spring Skin #CBias

Do you notice how your skin changes with the seasons? For myself it happens mostly in the winter months. The wind and cold chaps everything that’s exposed and then some! My skin can get so dry that when I towel off after showering, it’s like I’m a snake and my skin sheds. Kind of like this…

It can be tough to find a lotion that you feel works with your body chemistry, your preference in scent or texture and that won’t break your pocket book.

Something on a Stick Day ~ #TCBYGrocery #CBias

I apparently need to get a new calendar. The one I have does not contain certain holidays on it, most notably it is missing ‘Something on a Stick Day’ which I was told took place March 28th. So in true Litke fashion, we celebrated this auspicious occasion on a different day, which is usually what we do with most special occasions in our home anyway, because we’re either busy on the actual day of ________ (insert holiday/birthday/anniversary here), out of town or my husband we forgot.

Gourmet Leftovers with Ecce Panis #CBias #EasterMeals

Easter morning hasn’t changed much for me over the years, from childhood on it has followed the same routine. Church in the morning, big Easter dinner at the noon hour and then the candy baskets get doled out! For as long as I can remember ham has been the main dish at the dinner table for Easter. That’s what my mom always made, and that’s what I continue to make for Easter Sunday in my own home.

Physics Experiment ~ How to Determine a Person’s Reaction Time ~ #GluenGlitter #CBias

Since we homeschool we’re always doing science experiments. High School courses require a lab element so we do at least two every unit, sometimes three! We don’t always do ‘projects’ in conjunction with them – but it’s fun to use Glue ’n Glitter and put together a visual board when we’re using measurements to table and/or graph the experiments.
