A number of weeks ago I was sent a bottle of Sweetleaf Liquid Stevia Sweet Drop in their Cola flavor.  I drink more cola than I probably should and know I should replace those drinks with water, but I don’t like drinking water y’all.  I need bubbles!

John Chapman, or you may know him as Johnny Appleseed, was born on September 26, 1774. Yes folks that’s just a week and a bit away!  Whether you have pre-schoolers or grade schoolers there are fun things you can do to celebrate this day.  Homeschoolers can plan a whole day around Johnny Appleseed and of course others can bring their knowledge and fun to school and celebrate before and after too!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always had a problem with people wanting to know what’s in my lunch.  From grade school to work places, I’ve had my Holly Hobby lunchbox to my brown paper sack pawed and gone through seeing if there was something in there worth offering a trade for or to mooch.

I think I’ve solved one of the problems.  That one being the lunch bag itself.  I figured if I disguised it in such a way to repel people rather to invite them, perhaps they would leave my lunch alone.

A number of weeks ago a fellow local DFW blogger, Carrie, asked if I’d like to review one of her Meal Planners.  I was eager to do so because my meal planning skills of late have been dismal.  I even subscribe to an online meal planning service and haven’t opened any of the e-mails in months!  It is the curse of being busy and trying to fit every minute of time into a summer that goes by too, too quickly.  But when we dropped Amber off at college, I knew that I needed to start meal planning again or we were destined to eat frozen dinners and canned beans for the next four years.

Dolphin Tale 2 opens in theaters this Friday, September 12!

Dolphin Tale 2 tells another true story inspired by the life of Winter Dolphin, but also involves a new baby dolphin named Hope who was rescued by the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in 2010.  Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, Kris Kristofferson, and Harry Connick, Jr., are all back for Dolphin Tale 2.
