As much as I have tried, I have a hard time getting my family to eat vegetables. Maybe it’s because of the color, some of them I’m sure it’s because of the taste or maybe it’s just some anomaly that I have no control over. I try and ‘dress’ them up as much as I can, with sauces and spices.

It’s kind of shallow, but I’ll admit one of my favorite parts of summer is partaking in s’mores!

My best friend puts on a great 4th of July shindig, and the highlight of the evening for me isn’t the fireworks but rather…the s’mores! And when we were choosing excursions for our Alaskan cruise, I was almost swayed to take one of them simply because it included a part where you get to make s’mores around a campfire (sad I know…)

We eat a ‘boat’load of pasta in our home, so I have been intrigued by the Pasta Boat from the first time I saw it on a TV commercial. The honest truth is I hate bringing out the pot, waiting for the water to boil, then use a colander to strain it, for a box of macaroni and cheese. It just takes so much time and a lot of dishes.
