If you are a newcomer to my blog, you may not know but I am very tiny. 4’9” tiny and I have a petite frame too. I generally shop in the girl’s department but that makes it difficult to find appropriate clothing for an almost 40 year old!

I took a couple of the new Zing Toys out to my friend’s 4th of July party for the kids to play with.  5 kids between the ages of 5 and 15 had a lot of fun with them.  The older girls loved shooting off the Z-Curve Bow and making the younger ones collect the arrows – and the Zing-Shot launcher was a huge hit with the dog!

Well with this being the 4th of July – summer is well on its way! But today is a day where we tend to get together with friends and families, and nosh away on snacks and desserts at barbecues and picnics. Chips and dips of all kinds are usually a part of those gatherings. Frito-Lay has some great party tips to share with you:

I’ve been reviewing products from the Enjoy Life Foods line for a number of months now! Last time I reviewed a few of their new chocolate products; like their double chocolate crunch granola. It makes a yummy breakfast or an afternoon snack.

Last month I participated in the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! Ambassador contest by posting a unique toast recipe. I came up with a Vanilla Cupcake French Toast, but let me tell you there was tough competition (I had met one of the finalists On the Ranch and she is an incredible chef!), and I didn’t make the cut.

Okay I guess you’ve probably figured out by now that I live with a family of chocaholics. Something I’ve never owned before though is a chocolate fondue pot. When I had the chance to review one from Plow & Hearth, I was already anticipating the various treats that we could dip in chocolaty goodness.

I remember being so elated whenever I received Shrinky Dinks as a gift when I was younger.  I loved making key chains from them (back then there wasn’t much else you could do with them!)  Then when my daughter was in grade school, I purchased them for her so we could make Shrinky Dinks together! Sometimes I think I had more fun then she did. 

Recently I received a baking dish that I seriously will use for a long, long time from a company called Denby. This is a company I was not familiar with before I ran across them on the internet. Surprising though, because they go back more than 200 years!!

I love the Italian Good Seasons salad dressing, it really is the best! It’s a great way to create some tasty dressings that your family will love. If you have your own garden or are lucky enough to have a friend who ‘gifts’ you with fresh produce (like I do!) – you’ll find these dressings enhance the flavors of them.
