Pampers Wants to Help You Plan The Perfect Baby Shower {$300 AMEX Gift Card Giveaway}

It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to host a baby shower, the last one I really had a major role in was my nephew’s and he’s already 4 1/2!  It was a super evening though, and I have fond memories of co-hosting that event with my mom for my sister and nephew.  Baby showers are fun events to attend, the games, food, and fellowship with family and friends are just heightened by the new little one that has just been (or soon to be!) born.

Since I don’t have any close friends or family nearby to host a baby shower for, last month, when Pampers challenged me to be a part of their Miracle Mission Program, I ‘showered’ diapers, wipes and other necessities to a local pregnancy center to use in their “Learn to Earn” program.  Pampers has been busy throwing baby showers to new and expectant moms all across the US through their Big Mother’s Day Give Program.  Partnering with Points of Light Institute, they’ve been blessing these moms and will be sharing their stories and photos on their Facebook page.

Pampers is working on Miracle Mission #2 right now and since it’s June, it’s all about the new dads – Making a Father’s Day.  When Pampers received 4,000 commitments to complete the mission of helping a dad with the errands he has so that he could spend the time he would have been doing them, with his little miracle instead, Pampers pledged to throw special Father’s Day cook-outs for dads and babies across the country designed to give those dads and their children valuable bonding time.  You can go to their Facebook page and pledge to do this mission yourself as well!
