Now available in stores, MONSTERS UNIVERSITY on Blu-ray DVD and 3D Blu-ray DVD is the Pixar ‘prequel/sequel’ to Monsters, Inc.

We took the opportunity to see it this summer in the theaters, but now with our daughter right in the middle of university applications, essays and paperwork; it was a lot of fun to watch it again at home.  It’s scarerific, especially in 3D.

Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride!!

We already had Cars 2 on 3D Blu-ray so we were very excited to also receive the original Cars movie in the 3D format to add to our collection.  With two young nephews comign to visit soon, I know that these DVDs are going to get watched, A LOT, while they’re here at Auntie’s. 

If we had to put a soundtrack to our family, it would consist of a lot of Disney songs.  Both my husband and I grew up watching the Magical World of Disney and went on trips with our parents to the theme parks.  We honeymooned in Walt Disney World.  From 1990 on we probably have seen (and own!) most of their movies.  And lately around here, it’s all about their cruise ships.

36 days until Thanksgiving!  And also 36 days until Disney’s FROZEN is released in theaters.  Have you seen any trailers for the movie yet?  We’ve seen a couple and Olaf the Snowman is HILARIOUS!  I also love the wit and humor of what we’ve seen of the characters in the movie, and it looks like it’s going to be a great family movie to share during the holiday season.
