So it’s been about 3 weeks now that I started using the Nokia T-Mobile Lumia 710 Windows Phone. 

This phone has seriously made my life easier, everywhere I go.

The Nokia Lumia 710 with Windows Phone keeps all the people I want to connect with, the places I need to go to, the things I have to do….all in one place.  So I can call home, text my daughter, see the latest photo my friend has posted on Facebook, find my way to a destination I’ve never been to before, check my e-mail and see if I need gloves, an umbrella or boots depending on the today’s weather…all without having to open an app!  It’s all there right on the fluid start screen.

Dr. Gioia Turitto, MD, is Chief of Electrophysiology at New York Methodist Hospital-Cornell Heart Center. As one of the few women practicing invasive cardiology, she is committed to ensuring that women get the CV treatment they need and deserve through spearheading physician & community educational events. Dr. Turitto was born in Rome, Italy and did all her medical training except for EP Fellowship in Italy. EP training was done in the US, in NY and Kansas. She is a member of several organizations, including the American College of Cardiology

I’ve always been intrigued by ‘magic’ shows, actually better described as illusion shows. A couple of cruises ago, we were treated to a show by a very talented illusionist, and I spent the better part of the evening just trying to figure out how he did his tricks. Alas, I just could not.

On a different note, but pertaining to this blog post/review, I’ve also always been intrigued by the writing of Frank Peretti. I have voraciously read all of his previous novels many times over, and our daughter grew up falling asleep to Mr. Henry for years. If you’re a fan of his, you know that he hasn’t published a book since 2005 and even his last co-authored book (House, with Ted Dekker) was in 2006.

Here’s a great healthy and green way to kick off your St. Patrick’s Day!  My cousin re-vamped a recipe from The Chic Life – and said they were awesome, everybody in my family loved them!! Success!!!

VeggieTales newest DVD is here! Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men released in stores nationally March 6.

If you grew up a fan of Robin Hood, you’re especially going to love this show! VeggieTales has done with this show what they do best – taking a classic story and retelling it in a uniquely VeggieTales way, with silliness and also a big heart. The lesson in this show is about handling hurt. They heard from moms that this was a top lesson they wanted to see VeggieTales cover for their kids.

When Amber was younger she took swimming lessons at a local college. We were able to store her street clothes and our jackets in any of the empty lockers in the change room. We live in a pretty safe community so we weren’t terribly worried of our stuff being taken.

Last week I received samples of the new belVita Breakfast Biscuits to try. They come in three varieties: Blueberry, Apple Cinnamon and Golden Oat. I enjoyed the Blueberry the most and it is my favorite, but they all tasted good.

Since we homeschool I typically don’t have anywhere to go in the mornings. As such, I end up watching a lot of them myself and many that are for smaller kids, I’ve lamented that they were not available when our daughter was little.

Up to now I’ve been more familiar with the ‘Chuck’ toys than with the show itself, but recently I received The Adventures of Chuck & Friends: Friends to the Finish to review.
