VeggieTales newest DVD is here! Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men released in stores nationally March 6.
If you grew up a fan of Robin Hood, you’re especially going to love this show! VeggieTales has done with this show what they do best – taking a classic story and retelling it in a uniquely VeggieTales way, with silliness and also a big heart. The lesson in this show is about handling hurt. They heard from moms that this was a top lesson they wanted to see VeggieTales cover for their kids.
About the show:
There’s no hurt too big for God! Robin Good has a mission – fundraising from the rich and giving to the poor! But when a greedy Prince starts stealing the townspeople’s hams, donations are down and Robin’s band of friends desert him to give robbing a try. Can Robin overcome his hurt, show his friends what’s right and restore the townspeople’s hope?

The DVD also features:
An adorable short video starring Junior Asparagus: “Lenny and the Lost Birthday”. This plays at the start of the show before the main feature. Similar to what the mainstream animation companies do with their CG animated features.
A digital short that is both hilarious and educational, teaching kids about what a Leap Year means: “Larry’s Leapin’ Leap Year” is a bonus feature to watch on the DVD.
I hope you love this new DVD! We’re very excited about it. On this DVD you’ll also get a preview of what’s coming next from VeggieTales. Soon to be released is “The Penniless Princess” – a retelling of the classic story “A Little Princess” about trusting in God no matter what happens.
VeggieTales also has a partnership with World Vision to encourage child sponsorship! There’s no hurt too big for God! This is a powerful message of hope you can send to children in need when you choose to sponsor a child through World Vision. VeggieTales is partnering with their friends at World Vision to encourage families to sponsor children, and help them experience God’s love by providing life-changing necessities like clean water, nutritious food, healthcare, and education.
