Popcorn is something that is found in my home all the time. You won’t find us without a bag, jar of kernels or a box of the microwave variety to pop up. The thing about me and popcorn is, I have no preferred method of eating it. I love it hot and buttered, sweet and coated or savory seasoned.

I recently received some gourmet popcorn samples from Michele’s Sweet Shoppe. I really can’t even begin to explain how these fluffy kernels made my taste buds jump for joy. I got to try a bit of the different kinds of popcorn Michele’s offers; the savory and the sweet and some mixed snacks as well. I honestly could not pick a favorite, because they were all so good. That’s very unusual for me, when given a variety of samples I can pinpoint one or two flavors that I really like, but with these…I LIKED THEM ALL!!!!

My daughter loved the Mudslide Popcorn. She so enjoyed the mix of the Irish Cream and Coffee flavors (which is really funny, because she doesn’t like coffee at all!).

I think the standouts to me in the flavors we got to try were the Coconut Lime Curry, Dark Chocolate Mint and Peanut Butter. Not because they tasted ‘better’ than the others but for these reasons:

The Coconut Lime Curry is such a unique blend, it’s delicious – the fresh lime hints along with the surprise punch of the curry when you’re done is really different than other seasonings I’ve had before.

The Dark Chocolate Mint can only be described as a Girl Scout Thin Mint on top of popcorn. That will put a smile on anyone’s face that likes either of those two foods, and together – pure chocolaty mint bliss!

Peanut Butter Popcorn.  A creamy coat of peanutty goodness – that’s just popcorn love! I could have easily munched down this bag in one sitting while we watched a movie.
