Italian Meatball Enchiladas

Italian Meatball Enchiladas insideWith the popularity of my Korean Beef Soft Tacos post I have been looking for more ways to do some ‘food fusion.’  I wanted to make something that was fast but still had a homecooked taste to it, and altered a recipe I found for enchiladas to put all the yumminess of Italian food with the inspiration of this Mexican classic.  Using frozen meatballs means that you can put this dish together in no time at all, and it takes just 30 minutes to bake.

Mini Mac & Cheese Pot Pies

MINI MAC & CHEESE POT PIESSince my family’s palate is very sparse, I have to find new ways of serving up the things they’ll actually eat.  I have a pretty good recipe for Chicken Pot Pie that I don’t mess with, but when I saw a magazine ad for Mini Chicken Pot Pies, I was itching to make some mini comfort food and thought “mmm… Mac & Cheese.”

With as many likes that my not staged, dark and grainy Instagram picture received, I figured I had to blog them 🙂

Personalizing Travel Accessories with Vinyl Layered Monograms

Many credit cards and all U.S. passports issued after 2006 (plus some other ID cards, such as workplace IDs and some state drivers licenses) contain radio frequency identification (RFID) chips that broadcast personal information. They are constantly transmitting and thieves that have an RFID reader can capture that information just by walking by you. That’s right, even if the credit card or passport is in a bag or a purse they can get that information, and the only way they can’t is if you block that signal.

DIY Cork Monogram

DIY Cork MonogramI peruse stores like Michaels and Hobby Lobby and websites like Zulilly and proclaim with nearly everything I see: “I could make that…and a lot cheaper!” But then I never do it. “Enough!” I said after seeing both a wreath with a wine cork monogram online and stand alone burlap monograms at the store.

I did however need a ‘little’ help from Michaels and Dollar Tree, to make my own Cork Monogram.
