I am still trying to get my head around the fact that it’s the middle of November!  Anyone else wondering how the days have passed so fast?!

There are a lot of people (including me), pulling out their recipes, to start their holiday baking.  I had a bit of a head start, since last week I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!  sent me a culinary kit to push me in the right direction.  Included in the kit was a packet of recipes, one of which was a cookie recipe, which I tweaked for our family, and seriously it is chocolate overload .

Your home ought to be as thoroughly clean using a non-toxic cleaner as it is by using chemical cleaners.  By thoroughly clean, I mean being able to disinfect the surfaces in your home that not only have dust, dirt and unpleasant smells, but those that harbor germs too.  Many people for many reasons prefer not to use chemical cleaners to achieve those results, whether it be for allergic reactions, child or pet safety, or just to be more eco-friendly.  One way to accomplish this task is by using Method Antibac products.  Method Antibac kill germs without using bleach and/or triclosan, but use botanical ingredients instead.

I have been wanting a bread machine for many years.  I’ve drooled over the goodies my family and friends make with theirs.

Fresh baked bread just tastes so good, but I don’t have the patience (or the desire really) to mix it, knead it and shape it from scratch.  So using a bread machine has made it simplistic, to make and try breads of different flavors at home.  Plus, this way I also know what’s going into my bread.

Scrabble is a favorite family game for many, and now Hasbro has come out with a twist on that classic game called NAB-IT!.  The object of the game is to link the double-sided tiles to create words by stacking tiles.  Steal words from other players, by having the top tiles. As the stacks get higher, control keeps shifting form one opponent to the next.

The game can be played with 2-4 players.  Each player gets a bag filled with 25 two-sided letter tiles in a select color, along with a gray “bank” tile.  Form words by linking the tiles together.

So, I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter, managed to get me to clean out my fridge.  I’m hoping I can keep it in its clean state that I finished it off in, and get into the habit of doing a weekly sweep of its contents, maybe get some healthier food in it, and…I don’t know…eat some of that healthier food before it goes bad!  I’d been forgetting to do the chore of doing a refrigerator clean out, and I think I’ve been missing out on eating healthier because I couldn’t find anything in it.

Anyhow, to get back to the post title, I thought I’d share the steps that I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter supplied me with, to get my fridge in order.  I’m thinking that you can apply the steps as a basic model to cleaning and organizing other parts of your home too, but here are the “Eight Steps” to a Refrigerator Clean Out.
