So, when I go to the mall, I always have to stop at Auntie Anne’s Pretzels and get a pretzel and a Dutch Ice.  I love, love, love their pretzels.  If for some reason (time constraints, ornery child, empty pocketbook…)I can’t get one, I am saddened for the remainder of the day.

I love playing games with our family and friends, so I was excited to try this one out.  However, there are times we don’t have hours and hours to play and complete a game.  Sometimes we only have a 30 or 45 minute block of time to play in.  By the time you’ve actually gathered everyone around the table, and set the playing pieces up, half that time could be gone!

Winter is not my favorite season.  Honestly, I could do without it.  Unfortunately living in the Northern Plains means that it comes every year without fail and stays for months on end.  Winter’s one redeeming quality….Christmas.  And there’s nothing I like better than getting my home all decorated for that event.

After 16 1/2 years of marriage, we’re finally starting to replace some of our furniture.  A couple of weeks ago we got rid of our overstuffed sectional and bought a new leather couch, and are waiting on a couple of recliners that we ordered to go with it.

Next up will be new dining room chairs and table.  That may have to wait for a bit though.  I am wanting a designer look but without the designer price tag ~ after looking around, I’ve found that a quality set can be expensive.
