When we were on our Disney Transatlantic Cruise in April we watched a lot of movies.  It’s one of the perks of a Disney ship; because it’s their own content, the movies they own and are shown, for the most part are all first run movies.  Meaning if they’re in the theater in the U.S., they’re also on the ship at that time too.

Of course even on the ship they show trailers of the new movies that are on the horizon, and that’s where we were first introduced to the Jerry Bruckheimer movie ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’ set to release in theaters July 14th.

Out of all the Disney characters Tinker Bell is my absolute favorite.  I love her, she’s small and sassy…just like me!  Little known fact, Tinker Bell was not thought to have been a marketable character for Disney when Disneyland  first opened.  Kind of funny!

The dust from the Fairies in Pixie Hollow has not dissipated and you will soon see an all new adventure on DVD ‘TINKER BELL and the GREAT FAIRY RESCUE‘.  It’s set to hit the store shelves on September 21st (as a Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and Movie Download).

As the weather heats up, families will seek refuge in the cool waters of their neighborhood or backyard pools. Although there’s nothing like a quick dip on a hot summer’s day, pool season doesn’t come without potential risks. In fact, approximately 4,200 people go to the emergency room every year due to pool or spa-related injuries.  

This may seem like just a statistic, but it’s not.  It can happen to you.  I know because it happened in our family.  Our nephew’s life was cut short in a swimming pool accident.  It only takes the turn of your head, a slip, a bump and your life can change in a second.

I grew up with having a swimming pool in the backyard, and there were many incidents that I can recall where fortunately help came quickly, but it’s not guaranteed, and seemingly innocent activities around water can turn devastating quickly.
