Ziploc conducted a Fresh Eating Survey and the results they received were quite interesting. Although 81% of Americans would like to find more ways to use fresh ingredients in their meals, less than 50% of American’s eat vegetables and fruits daily. It’s not that surprising though, it’s one of those “easier said than done” types of scenarios.

It’s not new information that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  Between getting kids to school and getting ready for work, sometimes it’s difficult to get that healthy breakfast in.  If you are looking for healthy, quick and tasty breakfast choices, you may want to try out Seneca Farms Oatmeal.

From Thanksgiving to the new year is a month plus of challenges in the weight department of my life.  I try and be good, but somehow…well many of you know how that goes.  Sometimes seeing the number on the scale can be discouraging.

Rather than seeing a whopping 3 digit number, I think it’s more helpful to my efforts to see progress even if it’s just a little bit, or even if I gain – it’s hard to take if I see the scale move up, even if it’s just a pound.

My daughter has long hair and I know she doesn’t purposefully stuff her hair down the sink drain in the bathroom, but still I’m sure some gets in there as she does her daily routine.  I’ve tried to stay away from strong chemicals because of some issues we had using them in our last home, so have been using the natural vinegar and baking soda method to keep our drains clear in this home.

I was so excited to be able to participate in the Black & Decker Ultimate Sandwich Campaign.  I thought I would pick my mom’s brain for ideas for tasty sandwich creations when we visited at Easter, but it was actually a ‘crisp bread’ snack that I had there that inspired my sandwich.  This small round snack was infused with raisins, almonds and rosemary.

When we travel, I usually try to pack as light as possible, meaning choosing apparel that can dual function, pants that can be dressed up or down, shirts or blouses that do the same etc..  With a new item I got to review the Cardi Wrap, I have found that I can easily use this garment many ways, it takes the place of numerous articles of clothing, plus it’s pretty easily packable.

I love coffee.  I started drinking it when I had my first full time summer job.  Part of my duties was to make the morning coffee for the office.  I figured that if I was going to make it, I was going to drink it.  I didn’t really know HOW to make it though, and of course everyone has a different strength they like their coffee.

You might remember awhile ago I posted a review about the George Foreman Evolve Grill.  Well I recently got to try out another George Foreman product that aids in healthier cooking; the Smart Kitchen Multicooker.  I could seriously use this for most of the meals I make.
