The 411 on the Disney Vault….

If you haven’t already realized some of Disney’s animated movies are only available to purchase for a limited time. Then they are “put in the vault”, which means that you can’t buy them in retail stores for purchase until Disney once again liberates them from the confines of the vault, usually so another generation can enjoy them!

With CHIMPANZEE opening in theatres this Friday (April 20th), I wanted to share some new amazing materials that I’m sure you can use in your homeschool.

The first is the CHIMPANZEE Family Activity Book which has really fun games, mazes and coloring sheets that also help teach kids about these amazing animals.

There’s nothing like gathering your family around a roaring fire during the holidays.  I agree with that statement, except for the fact that I don’t have one (boo).  So it was with great delight that I received Disney’s Magical Fireplace DVD (mrsp $19.95) to display on my TV for Christmas.  But this isn’t just any old ‘yule log’ it has that added bit of Disney magic!

We don’t go see a lot of movies in the theater, mostly for two reasons.  One, we cruise about once a year on the Disney Cruise Line and since they have all the recent movies from Disney and Touchstone on board we like to watch those on our sea days (so technically I guess we do see them in a ‘theater’ we just do it on the ocean LOL!).
