Disney Releases G-Force 3D Blu-ray – Gift Guide Pick

Leading the way in the advancement of 3D entertainment and continuing its commitment to the growing Blu-ray 3D™ market, The Walt Disney Studios released four titles in Blu-ray 3D Tuesday November 8, 2011 – one of which was G-Force.

If you’re looking to fill out your 3D Blu-ray collection or add another stocking stuffer for the kids, you could fill both with this elite team of highly trained guinea pigs.

This group of intelligent rodents is about to save the world when the FBI shuts the secret unit down.  But armed wit hthe latest high-tech gadgets, the fur flies as they race against the clock to accomplish their mission.

G-Force was the first scripted live-action 3D movie under the Disney Digital 3D brand.  It was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, and stars the voice talents of Nicolas Cage, Sam Rockwell, Jon Favreau, Penelope Cruz, Tracy Morgan and Steve Buscemi.

We found the story line of G-Force just satisfactory, it’s an okay movie that appeals to grade school children more than it does teens and adults, but parents will enjoy seeing their kids laugh at the silly antics of the guinea pigs as they save the world.  We did like the “G-Farce” bonus feature, which has outtakes with the actors before the computer generated animals were added to the film, it is quite funny.
