I’ve only recently entered into the world of smart phones this year. Prior to getting it in February I had an old phone that I think could send and receive texts…but I didn’t have a clue how to do either with it. We first got that phone when our daughter started Kindergarten so that the school could get a hold of me in case of emergency and I was not at home. I think cell phones in general are feel like some sort of a safety net for Moms as a link to their children when they can’t be with them. And now I’m going to share an app and service that will keep important messages,

I’ll admit, I don’t always choose the healthiest snack options.  But I am a snack fan, and I know that with as often as I do snack, I should be looking at healthier alternatives.

We were under a non-disclosure agreement about it until now, because registration wasn’t open for it until September 4th and they didn’t want any group getting an unfair advantage over another because they already knew about it (wink).

I’m going to be completely honest and upfront…I don’t buy Organic Mac and Cheese. We generally buy the brand in blue (oh yes you know the one I’m talking about), so when I was approached to do a taste test between Back to Nature Organic Mac and Cheese and the leading competitor, I was interested not just to see if Back to Nature could stand against the competition, but also to see if organic Mac and Cheese tastes any different than regular Mac and Cheese.

This is the time of year that hovers between the last days of “summer like” weather and the cool crispness of autumn.  Where even up north, it’s still warm enough for shorts and flip-flops during the day, but come evening you’re reaching for the sweatshirt or slippers.

My beverage choices are as conflicted as the weather on days like that!  I want something cold and refreshing to quench my thirst in the morning or early afternoon, and something that will warm me up while we sit wrapped in blankets in front of the TV at night.
