Bitsy’s Brainfood introduces the world’s first smart snack for kids. Designed as delicious treats to nurture kids’ bodies, minds and imaginations, Bitsy’s Brainfood is a tasty and nutritious snack that provides healthy and wholesome ingredients in appealing flavor combinations. Bitsy’s Brainfood encourages children to crave the right foods and makes learning fun with letter shaped cookies and a collectible sticker from Bitsy’s wacky superfood alphabet characters included in each box. Boxes have fun suggestions on how to make snack time learning time by encouraging creative play with the letters and stickers.

Each tasty bite of Bitsy’s Brainfood contains a “bitsy” of nutrients to help support kids’ growing bodies and brains. Fun combinations of kid favorite flavors include Zucchini Gingerbread Carrot, Orange Chocolate Beet, Lemon Broccoli and Sweet Potato Oatmeal Raisin.

Key Benefits

· Excellent source of Omega 3 DHA, Vitamins A, B 12, B6, D3 and Folic Acid

· Good source of iron and calcium

· No GMO’s

I was sent a couple of the flavors of Bitsy’s Brainfood to try with my family. As I have mentioned numerous times on my blog, my daughter and husband are kind of picky eaters. I was quite certain that if they saw the boxes and what was in the cookies, they wouldn’t go near them with a ten foot pole. I mean who puts broccoli and sweet potatoes in cookies?!

The Sweet Potato Oatmeal Raisin was instantly shied away from, as my daughter does not like raisins..in anything. But interestingly enough…there are no ‘raisins’ to be found. By that I mean there are no ‘raisin’ pieces or bits in the cookies. Score one for Bitsy’s.

Taste wise the Lemon Broccoli was preferred over the Sweet Potato Oatmeal Raisin. We found the latter had a bit of an after taste. And we liked the light fresh taste of the Lemon Broccoli over the ‘heavier’ almost spicy (as in cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger type spice) taste of the Sweet Potato Oatmeal Raisin.

Bitsy’s Brainfood products are available for $2.49 at retailers nationwide.

I was sent samples from EduFoods, LLC. All opinions are my own.

  1. I am all about hiding veggies in foods. sounds like something worth trying but definately hide the boxes.
