Blueberry Pancake Syrup

I think I may have mentioned a time or two on my blog before that I love pancakes.  It’s one of those foods that I could eat every day and probably never get tired of them.  In what feels like the never ending supply of food in my pantry and freezer that we need to use up before we move, I tweaked a recipe that I had from the National Honey Board, and made pancakes with a blueberry syrup the other morning.

Smoothies are one of my favorite quick, healthy things to make, and this recipe is perfect, it was even slurped up by the pickiest of eaters.  It’s good for hot summer days and it’s simple to make.  You could really add any of your favorite fruit instead of raspberries and make this smoothie all your own.

Therefore I spend a great deal of time shopping for her, either in the store or online.  She is so not a fashionista.  If she could wear sweat pants and a graphic tee all day every day, that would be her outfit of choice.

So I’ve been trying to encourage her to ‘improve’ on her fashion choices.

Should We See It in 3D? #FandangoFamilyRoom

When I was growing up, 3D technology was akin to red-and-blue cardboard glasses that were taped on the side of a Slurpee cup. Now it seems it’s rare for a movie to be released only in 2D with no 3D counterpart to view it in. But is 3D the best choice for families?

My husband and I, for one, love 3D movies; we even have a whole 3D system set up in our home. But our daughter doesn’t like 3D movies at all.
