The Swiss Colony Spring Giveaway

It’s still chilly where we live, the air a bit damp and cold.  I’m ready for some of the flowers to start peeking our and some green to appear on the ground!  Thoughts of the upcoming spring and summer make me smile, and so do the festive spring offerings from The Swiss Colony.

I guarantee looking at their new seasonal products will make you want to eat!  I just love the detail that goes into the presentation of the sweet treats, which are absolutely delightful, almost too good looking to eat – almost…

The Swiss Colony did not fail to impress me with what was delivered to my door this week.  It’s my daughter’s 15th birthday later this month, and there is nothing she likes more as a sweet treat than watermelon.  Watermelon does not so much make a good birthday cake though…but what do you know…maybe it does…if The Swiss Colony is providing the cake…

(I wish it were MY birthday…oh wait I still get to the cake!)

How cute is that?!  Vanilla cake and butter crème on the inside, and those little seeds…chocolate chips!  No drips or rind to cut, it doesn’t get much sweeter than that!  There’s nothing that screams the beginning of summer more than Watermelon!

We had planned to celebrate her birthday a couple of weeks early but plans were changed for us, but no worries!  The Swiss Colony provided instructions in the packaging on the timeliness of eating it, and how long we could “put it on ice” (ie. freeze it), and still enjoy it.  Which was great for us, that way it will still be good to eat when her friends can join us!  She’s thrilled at the idea of digging into this “Watermelon-style” Cake.

The Swiss Colony has so many sweet treats for all ages – whether you need to fill baskets with fudge or brownie bites, or you want to get a pre-made and filled basket they have you covered.

Mother’s Day Ideas

Okay The Swiss Colony is a no brainer for Mother’s Day – go to their site, spend hours drooling over what you could get Mom (and help her eat) – order it, and watch it show up at the door.  Really, they should let you hit the ‘easy’ button for this one.
