Thanksgiving Treat Tag Printables

By the time November rolls around, if you’re like me, you’re wishing time would stop for a couple of hours each day so that you can get everything done.  When my daughter was younger I had the best intentions to thank the people that were teaching her and keeping her safe with baked goodies…but usually it never happened.  Then I told myself…it’s okay to cheat!  And by cheat I mean pick up some treats at the grocery store bakery.

So back to my Thanksgiving Treats ‘cheat.’  Bakery goods are always going to be tasty 🙂  But with very little time and cost you can put a bit more of a personal touch when delivering your sweet treats, rather than just presenting them in the plastic container you purchased them in.

I went to Market Street and picked up a couple of containers of Thumbprint Cookies.  They were $4.49 each.

Then I went and got some cute little take-out containers that fit 2 or 3 of the cookies in.  I found them on sale for 28¢ each, but even regular price they were only 69¢.

Now I’ve done the hard work for you 😉  I created these tags that you are welcome to download and print.

I designed them specifically for the Market Street Thumbprint Cookies, and you’ll soon see why, but naturally you could use them for any treat you choose to put in the boxes.

Once you have the tags printed out, color your child’s thumb with a washable marker and have them make a thumbprint on the owl’s wing.

Punch the center hole out of the tag and add a ribbon to attach it to the container, and that’s all there is to it!

A Thanksgiving Treat that’s perfect for you and your children to gift to teachers, crossing guards, bus drivers, care givers, neighbors, and so many other people.

Two or Three cookies is just the right amount for a coffee break or lunch dessert!  Putting together six of these boxes costs less than $2.20 each… with cookies to spare I might add 😉
