I can’t believe it’s already been a month since I added the Chicago Cutlery DesignPro Knives to my kitchen routine.
I filmed a little ‘demonstration’ video showing both the Santuko knife in use, and then a comparison between the DesignPro 8″ Chef Knife next to another similar 8″ knife that I also own, to give you an idea side by side the difference.
I hope you could really tell by the video what makes the grips on the Chicago Cutlery DesignPro knives so unique, and the ease of which they cut the everyday foods you use to cook and eat in your kitchen. I was surprised myself to see how easy it was to cut right through that apple – core and all!
As I said, the grips are what I really like about these knives, they make me much more confident when slicing and dicing veggies and meat for my recipes. I think I’ve bought (and used!) more fresh vegetables in my cooking in the last month of owning these knives then I have in the last 18 years of marriage!
You can find the knives that I featured in my video, my past posts and other sizes too on Amazon.com.
If you are needing new knives for your kitchen, what features of the Chicago Cutlery DesignPro knives would make you most interested in purchasing them?
I wrote this review while participating in a Brand Ambassador Campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Chicago Cutlery and received products to facilitate my post and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

I agree that those grips are a HUGE plus to the knives. My very first set of knives was Chicago Cutlery. I picked them myself!
Santuko is great! The forged blade is is pretty nicely balanced. Asia is selling some awesome cooking utensils which I do not have to take a second mortgage out to own a quality equipment. 🙂
