Ravioli and Zucchini Cheese Bake

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Kraft. The opinions and text are all mine.

I don’t think life gets any crazier than in the month of December. Between every day activities and then all the holiday hustle and bustle I feel like I need a 27 hour day to fit every thing in. I don’t want to drop the proverbial ball though when it comes to dinner, but at this time of the year I’m all about quick and easy.

In my family a “perfect” recipe needs just three things: pasta, sauce and cheese. But I’m trying to find a way to sneak some healthier food in where possible and a ravioli baked dish seemed like a great opportunity for just that. The problem? I couldn’t find a vegetable that I though we’d all eat to incorporate into the recipe (which I adapted from one over at KraftRecipes.com). Then I saw a can of zucchini in Italian sauce on the store shelf and I knew I had struck the perfect combo for this recipe.

This will have your whole family asking for seconds.

Be sure to use the Kraft Shredded Mozzarella Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia. It will create the gooey cheesy topping. The Philly makes all the difference!

It’s a simple and easy recipe that takes no time to prepare and less than an hour to bake, perfect for the busy holiday season. Add a packaged salad and/or some bread sticks and you have a hearty meal.

14 oz. spaghetti sauce
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) canned zucchini with Italian Style Tomato Sauce, undrained
6 oz. chicken broth
1/4 cup Italian Salad Dressing
20z. package of refrigerated four cheese ravioli
1 bag (2 cups) KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese with a TOUCH OF PHILADELPHIA
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil

Heat oven to 375°F. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add ravioli and mix to coat entirely in sauce.

Put the ravioli mixture into a 9×13 baking dish. Cover with foil. Bake for 50 minutes. Remove foil and sprinkle with cheese and then the basil. Return to oven for another 5 minutes. Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes and then serve.
