ProFlowers Pink Ribbon Berries Giveaway

Stay Healthy.  That’s one of the American Cancer Society’s tips for reducing your risk of cancer.  Exercise is one of the best things you can do for your overall health, and may help reduce your risk of cancer, too.  (It’s a start to walk in the Relay for Life, like our Girl Scout Troop did as part of the MedXray team).  Think color when you think healthy eating.  Learn which cancer screening tests are right for you.

Here are some other things that you can do to take control of your health and reduce your cancer risk:

  • Stay away from tobacco.
  • Stay at a healthy weight.
  • Get moving with regular physical activity.
  • Eat healthy with plenty of fruits and vegetables.
  • Limit how much alcohol you drink (if you drink at all).
  • Protect your skin.
  • Know yourself, your family history, and your risks.
  • Have regular check-ups and cancer screening tests.

I was delighted to receive 1 Dozen Hand-Dipped Pink Ribbon Berries from ProFlowers a couple of weeks before our walk in the Relay for Life.

If you’ve ever seen a picture of gourmet foods in an advertisement or t.v. and think that nothing could possibly look, no less taste as good as they make them look, let me tell you, these berries do!

They are generously covered in chocolate and not just a thin coating.  And the berries are HUGE.  It’s almost (notice I said almost…) a shame to eat them because they are so beautiful, but once you take that first bite…you’ll be reaching for another one!  They are a delicious indulgence.  The berries were sweet and juicy, and paired with the chocolate…yummm.

I was super impressed with how they arrived.  Chocolate covered fruit and July usually aren’t two things that mix well together.  But my berries came carefully packaged, with an ice pack to keep them cool, and fresh on their journey.  They were cradled safely in their shipment and arrived in tact and tasty to my front door.

ProFlowers has so much more than flowers on their site, in addition to their many Pink Ribbon products, they also have a great selection of Birthday Gift Baskets.

How ProFlowers makes a difference:

Made to order, these giant strawberries are dipped and covered with pink & white swizzles.  In addition to the Pink Ribbon Berries, all of the Pink Ribbon products on ProFlowers site donate 10% to Susan G.
