For those that are frequent visitors of my blog, you might note that I often mention my three favorite foods. In no particular order they are pancakes, ice cream and…popcorn! My family knows that any (or all!) of those are a welcome site on the table, to go out for, or as a gift. If I can find new brands, flavors or accessories to go with any of them, you’ve got one happy girl.
This past week it has been all about the popcorn around here, or rather the PopCorners, which is popcorn in a chip. PopCorners come in 5 delicious flavors; Butter, White Cheddar, Kettle, Cheesy Jalapeno and Sea Salt.
If you’ve ever had ‘puffcorn’ before (snacks that look like cheetos but have a buttery corn like taste) – the taste of PopCorners is similar to that (especially the Butter flavor), but it has a satisfying crunch just like a chip.
My favorite was the White Cheddar. I found my family trying to press their hands into my bag to try some. Good Grief! Really? Who do they think they are? I made them get their hands out of my White Cheddar PopCorners. So then I just opened the bigger bag of White Cheddar and let them go at it. To say it was devoured is an understatement.
Whose Easter basket is this good for?
Tweens/Teens or Adults with braces. Chewy, sticky foods are usually off limits for folks with braces so the jelly beans and caramels aren’t a good choice. And trying to floss out the kernel pieces from brackets from eating popcorn? Fuggedahboutit. With PopCorners they’ll get their popcorn fix with no extra work when it’s time to brush the teeth. Of course you’ll have to buy extra bags for the rest of the family too, because they might ‘suddenly’ find popcorn stuck between their teeth and protest for PopCorners.
