As a Fandango Family Room parent blogger, movies are going to become a big part of our year!  And I’m so excited to see EPIC since we’ve really enjoyed the animation and story lines of the Ice Age movies and Rio.

EPIC kicks off the summer movie season on May 24th, 2013!
EPIC has it all – Samurai-like action and warriors, incredible aerial battles, laugh out loud humor and an adventure that will transport you to a hidden, rich and beautiful world, unlike any you’ve seen before.

Tuesdays after release day are generally the days we go to the movie theater to see new movies.  Between my husband being off work Tuesday to Thursday since he works weekends and homeschooling, it allows us to take advantage of matinée pricing and empty theaters! 

Today we hit the theaters to see Iron Man 3.  I’ve heard mixed reviews from those that have already seen it, but we liked it.  As the third movie in the series I was wondering if it would live up to its two predecessors, and I think it did.

This is a unique kitchen gadget made by Architec.  I had never heard of this product before I was asked to review it.  I was sent a Stackable Appetizer Maker to use in my kitchen and after watching the video (which you can see below), I was ready to try my hand at wowing my family with a fun treat.

When it comes to the house hunting game, we’ve got some specific wants.  I want to live in a safe neighborhood and have a decent kitchen and a guest room.  My husband wants the house to be close to his work, have a small yard, an office and a large shower.  When you put all those things together the list of available homes in our price range shrinks.  It’s a conundrum on which one to give up to have the rest, as we want all of them!
