Italian Stuffed Turkey Burgers
I’m sure a lot of you are like me and don’t like heating up your kitchen during the summer. That means our grill gets quite the work out.
My family isn’t very adventurous, they like the tried and true staples like beef burgers or hot dogs, but me I like to experiment with different ingredients and flavors.
Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, Texas
Since moving to the DFW area last July we’ve been slowly working our way through all the sites and attractions in the area. I’ve written about quite a few of them on the blog so far, and one of the things we really wanted to do in downtown Dallas was visit the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. We had a chance to do that last week when they had a Family Media Day, we took advantage of the complimentary entrance fee and I’m so glad we did! I have A LOT of pictures so you can see the reason why you need to visit if you’re ever in Dallas.
Canvas Champ – Affordable Canvas Prints

When we moved from Canada to South Dakota my mom gifted us with a painting set of iconic places of the city that our family lived in. It was a great art piece that we proudly hung in our home to remember our roots. We knew that we wouldn’t stay in South Dakota forever either so I had a print made of the falls in our city there to hang next to the first painting.

Earth to Echo Giveaway

Hello readers! Today I am very pleased to be able to offer you a giveaway for the movie Earth to Echo, which is releasing in theaters July 2.
Paddington Movie

I remember reading books when I was young about a marmalade loving bear named Paddington. I LOVED those books. We went to the theaters a couple of weeks ago to see How To Train Your Dragon 2, and an absolutely fun and delightful trailer was shown for … PADDINGTON. Before the title, or the bear’s name was even mentioned, I knew ‘who’ it was and was giddy. My husband didn’t quite get my joy at seeing this character come to life in a movie 😉
The movie stars a stellar cast with Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi and Nicole Kidman.
