I’m really having a difficult time getting my head around the fact that Halloween is at the end of this week.This is just our second October in Texas, and I still can’t believe that I’m walking around in tank tops, shorts and flip flops.  Seeing my friends’ in Canada’s photos yesterday on Facebook with snow on the ground, made me hop on my Samsung S4 phone powered by Family Mobile Walmart Best Plans to compare our weather to their weather.  Because let’s face it ya’ll, you kind of have to take screenshots and flaunt it when it was 86 degrees here and only 37 degrees there.

A couple of weeks ago I got this car delivered to my home.

Are you like me and find it difficult to get your suggested water intake each day?  I have no problems drinking my fair share of coffee or pop, but water… that’s a whole different story.  Adding Crystal Light drink mixes is an easy fix that makes water more flavorful, but for me if the packages are not front and center when I’m opening the fridge, I’ll reach for something else.  So, I solved that problem by making my own Chalkboard Hydration Chart, where I can track my water intake daily/weekly AND have the Crystal Light packets close at hand, so no excuses!

This last week I was invited to the Dallas Lee Jeans Style Party at the NYLO in Plano, put on by Lee Jeans.  I was able to bring a guest along and so (I dragged) my husband accompanied me.  Really though, a date night out with food & drinks, the company of some of my favorite bloggers and where I could try on jeans, that’s kind of like a trifecta in my books!

As most American families these days, we’re all about getting the most bang for our buck.  But that doesn’t mean we want to sacrifice quality for price.  That’s why we’ve always enjoyed going to CiCi’s Pizza.  If you’re not familiar with CiCi’s, it’s an all you can eat pizza buffet restaurant.
