March 31st is Easter! Great Gifts Abound at Personal Creations

Well here it is, not even Valentine’s Day yet, and I’m talking about Easter! Crazy right?! But check out your local retailers and I’m guessing you’re seeing some Easter goods ‘springing’ up in your stores too. Easter’s pretty early on the calendar this year, March 31st.

When our daughter was younger we used to do those Easter Egg hunts with her in our basement. She loved those. Putting her eggs in a basket and then checking out what was in them when she had found them all. We forgo the Easter Egg hunts these days, but my we’re never too old for the sweet treats! So I ordered our daughter a personalized Hugs & Kisses Treat Jar.

My girl LOVES hugs – I mean literal ones. Almost 17 years old and she asks us for hugs. A. Lot. Over the course of the day, she probably asks nine or ten times “Can I have a hug?” We keep asking her what she’s going to do when she goes off to college, and we’re not around to give her a hug when she feels she wants or needs one.

And then I saw the treat jar on Personal Creations, and I had an epiphany – Hugs & Kisses from Mom and Dad even when we’re not there! So I had the jar personalized to say “When We’re Not There”. I filled it up with Hershey’s Hugs & Kisses and even though it’s not Easter yet, gave it to her the other night. She was thrilled with it!

The candy motif and personalization on the jar is of great quality and I’m really happy with how it turned out. The cost of the jar was $19.99 and you can have two lines of personalization added to it, with 10 characters on each line. That doesn’t give you a lot of room, so you might have to get creative with your wording if you want to use more than just a name.

I also picked up some Cheerful Easter Hand Towels that scream “SPRING” from Personal Creations.  I chose the bright colors with tulips on them.

You can see the seams are sewn really well.

The towels are constructed from a soft polyester (they almost feel like fleece).

I love that they are multipurpose, I currently have one in our guest bathroom, and the other hanging over our stove door!

I had them personalized with our family name, and the personalization is done so well it looks terrific.

These towels really brighten up our living spaces and they wash really well too. There are three designs to choose from (besides the tulips there is also a bunny and a chick), and each towel is priced at $12.99.
