I have never had a cat as a pet.  My brother though had two, and for a while they lived with my family when my brother moved back home while his own house was being built.  I remember them bringing so much joy and laughter into our home.  They were brothers (my brother named them Groucho Marx and Karl Marx!) and they were as different as their names!  They right away knew which laps to snuggle on…mine and my sister’s, and whose to stay away from…my dad’s!  Those memories are actually quite fond in my mind even now 25 years later.
