Celebrating Miracles With Pampers – Giveaway

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

There’s nothing more miraculous than what makes Mother’s Day, Mother’s Day and that is our children.  For without our children we would not be mothers!

Pampers launched a program called Miracles Missions in celebration of its 50th birthday, a pay-it-forward program designed to deliver acts of kindness to little miracles and their families while challenging the public – like me and you – to support others within their very own communities.

I was chosen to be a part of Pampers first Miracle Missions blogging program, and was challenged to take a $50 American Express Gift Card which I was given, and perform a random act of kindness to celebrate a little miracle within my community.  I was not given any other guidelines, and could decide on my own how I wanted to do that.

I knew right away how I was going to spend that $50.  I ordered some newborn Pampers diapers and Pampers diaper wipes from Amazon.com and put those items together with some new clothing, blankets and toys and delivered it all to the Alpha Center.

The Alpha Center is a nonprofit agency in my community, that provides a comprehensive range of services to women and men involved in an unplanned pregnancy.  Pregnancy support classes are offered at no charge to expecting new moms and dads. They learn how to give their baby the best possible start in life!  Topics include:

Pregnancy, Labor & Delivery

Health and Nutrition

A Night with the Doc

Newborn Care

Personality & Temperament

Character & Positive Relationships

Loving Your Child

Discipline

Focus on Fatherhood

Participants may also earn points toward the Alpha Center Earn While you Learn program. Points can be redeemed to buy diapers, clothes, baby food, shampoo, and many more baby items needed during the first year or two of a baby’s life.

They take all of these donated items and make layettes for the new parents!

Everyone can participate in a small way by logging on to Pamper’s Facebook page (Facebook.com/Pampers) by hitting ‘like’ and then going to the Miracle Missions tab and committing to Mission 1 by clicking “I Want To Pledge.”  Pampers will respond by giving baby showers to expectant mothers nationwide this Mother’s Day!  (As a side note, anyone who pledges is automatically entered to win a year’s supply worth of Pampers diapers and wipes, and that can definitely help someone in a big way!)

Pampers is also challenging one of my readers to use a $50 American Express gift card, to pay-it-forward in their community.  And then you’ll be able to use that card to make it a reality!
