Carissa Rose Clothing Giveaway

If you are a newcomer to my blog, you may not know but I am very tiny. 4’9” tiny and I have a petite frame too. I generally shop in the girl’s department but that makes it difficult to find appropriate clothing for an almost 40 year old!

And then there is the fact that I am endowed in the chest area like a woman, not an average 12 year old, which of course makes shopping for tops or dresses in the girls department a challenge. To find a short sleeve top or blouse in the women’s department that fits generally isn’t a problem, but long sleeves? That’s an entirely different matter – the sleeves are always too long in the women’s clothing and never fit across the chest in the girl’s.

I found the perfect fitting top at Carissa Rose online though. Carissa Rose fits the female form. Their shirts and dresses fit your bustline and flatter your waistline. What I love about this company is that they understand that well-endowed women come in all sizes from tiny sizes to large sizes – and what all of them are looking for are shirts that don’t gape at the bustline, but when its roomy enough to fit over that section it still fits and flatters everywhere else.

I received the Miranda Peplum Jacket in the Olive color – and it fits so well. It has a bit of a shorter sleeve, so for me with my shorter arm length it falls right to my wrist. It doesn’t pull or gape across my chest, is a tailored fit at the waistline, and overall gives me enough room to wear it as a shirt or as a jacket with another layer underneath without it being bulky.

It’s classic enough to dress up with slacks or a skirt, or just with a pair of jeans.

The sizing widget on the website, really helped determine the item that I chose. It helped me figure out my body shape and the fit that would be best for me.
