Smartfish ErgoMotion Laser Mouse Giveaway

Gift Guide Pick

Many people with auto-immune disorders are in need of an ergonomic mouse, that can help make working on a computer more comfortable.  Many jobs require people to be at their computers all day long, or even if you’re blogger like I am, I tend to be on the computer about 1/2 of my day.  It’s hard on my hands since I have an auto-immune disorder called Raynaud’s.  My fingers, thumbs and lower palms can be sore or even numb by the end of the day.  Using an ergonomic mouse helps the pain when used regularly.

I recently was able to try the ErgoMotion Laser Mouse from Smartfish Technologies.  In my personal experience this mouse has helped curb the pain in my hands, especially my dominant one.  Now it hasn’t elimated the pain totally, but it there is a noticeable difference.

This mouse is different from any others on the market because it features a patented pivot motion design. This allows the mouse to move with your natural hand and wrist positions, adapting to your unique movements while you work to help promote blood flow. It was designed along side with The Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), located in New York City, which is one of the leading orthopedics hospitals in the country, a portion of our proceeds are donated to the HSS Rehabilitation Education Fund.

As for ‘mouse’ functions, I find it compares to other mice I have used.  The cordless factor is nice.  You pop a tiny usb receptor into your port and flip a switch on the bottom of the mouse to use it.  It’s super easy to set up.  The response time is good, and it scrolls well.  The only thing I miss about my previous mouse is that I had an extra button on the side, that allowed me to go back to the previous page when working on the internet. I think though I can give that up for the fact that I’m noticing an improvement in the pain that I’ve had in my hands.

I think that this is a good choice both on an ergonomic level and on a technical level.  If you spend a good amount of time at the computer this ErgoMotion Laser Mouse by Smartfish Technologies is one to consider.  It is available for $49.95.

One lucky reader will win an ErgoMotion Laser Mouse from Snapfish Technologies.
