Last year when Wreck-It Ralph was first announced, our daughter was rightly excited about it. As an avid gamer, a Disney film about video games, even arcade games, was enough to have her impatiently tapping her feet. When it was finally released in theaters and she got to watch it…it knocked Tangled from the top of her favorite animated Disney film list. I really cannot overstress how much she loves this movie, it’s heart warming and hilarious in all the right spots. I can attest to how much she was bouncing off the walls when we received the Wreck-It Ralph 4-Disc Blu-ray Combo pack. She was so impatient she had to go watch it once by herself

For fans of Disney/Pixar movies the 2001 animated classic, Monsters, Inc., executive produced under John Lasseter and Andrew Stanton, is now available in 3D on DVD, and it’s so cute, it’s scary! Everything that made the original Monsters, Inc. movie special—the loveable monsters, the underlying humor, the workplace shenanigans—has been digitally mastered to HD standards, you’ll want to get a copy for monstrous fun!

I really find it difficult to believe that Peter Pan was first released 60 years ago! It attests to the ongoing appeal it has to both children and adults. My daughter’s first experience with Peter Pan was at the Disney Parks, where she had to ride Peter Pan’s Flight over and over and over again. I don’t think she had even seen the movie at that point!

My daughter and I went to see Monsters, Inc. in 3D yesterday afternoon. The last preview was for the next installment in the franchise, and it looks like it will be great. We found it so funny that it spoofed the college ads that we see on TV.

One of the reasons we personally love homeschooling is because of the way we can adapt our curriculum to our daughter’s particular learning methods.
