Lemon Pepper Dill Tilapia Recipe
My daughter got the love of seafood from the many cruises we have taken. One of my first memories of her eating seafood (other than fish sticks) was when she was 8 years old. She ordered an encrusted halibut fillet, and our servers joked with her that they spent the morning fishing off the side of the ship for it. It was so cute. She proclaimed the fish nothing short of delicious, and began her quest to order seafood for each meal. My husband though does not share her love for seafood, so we don’t eat it as often as she’d like. If I stick to a mild fish, he’s usually okay with it, as long as we don’t have it too often.
9 Popular Outdoor Decorating Themes
When people talk about home decorating options, they are usually talking about interior decorating. The strategic choosing of furniture, art, flooring, wall coverings, and appliances for inclusion in a room is an important part of transforming a house into a home. Even an apartment or condo can be made entirely personal through the inclusion of well-chosen items. However, most discussions about home decorating neglect to mention the importance of choosing the items that will be placed in the yard and on the property surrounding your home. The outside of your home has just as much design potential as the inside, so learning about your many
#SoFabCon – I WANNA GO!

The conference bug has hit me…and I haven’t even left for my first one yet!!! It’s like EVERYONE has one – and which one do you go to? I originally chose Blissdom to be my first conference because I thought we’d live in the DFW area by next week….sigh…but here we are still waiting for our home to sell. And let me tell you, airfare is wicked expensive in our podunk city to fly anywhere. But enough of that I’m here to blog about the next conference I want to attend and that’s the

Schindler’s List 20th Anniversary Limited Edition Blu-Ray
Looking back over the years, I tend to think that some of the movies I’ve seen were terrific, until I go back and watch them again 20, 25 or 30 years later, only to discover they weren’t quite as good as I remember them to be. Often I think that just has to do with age, things that I thought were good when I was 16 certainly are lackluster now.
It’s true too that the older you get the faster time seems to go by, and so it was with a little bit of shock that I realized that it was 20 years ago that Steven Spielberg first started production on Schindler’s List
KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese, “You know you love it.” Giveaway
I didn’t grow up eating macaraoni & cheese, we were a strict “meat & potatoes” kind of family. When my husband and I got married, and he requested I make mac & cheese for dinner I was somewhat flabbergasted – I mean he’s a grown man only kids eat mac & cheese, right?! It could only be the “blue box” though, and somehow that iconic brand of KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese found its way into our shopping cart frequently 🙂

Hallmark Get Carded Challenge & Giveaway
My friend Virginia over at That Bald Chick let me know about a campaign she is working on, and I thought it was pretty neat. It is the Get Carded Challenge by Hallmark. When I heard about it, I decided I want to take on the challenge myself!
My challenge was to send seven cards in seven days to seven people who are important to me! I thought it would be a fun challenge to help me connect and reconnect with loved ones.
Educents ~ Huge Discounts on Educational Products

When we first started our homeschool journey, I wasn’t quite sure where to start. I mostly purchased packaged curriculum, and we used that until I found a good rhythm, and then I felt more comfortable to branch out and use other things for our lessons.
When you live in a small city though, it’s sometimes hard to find the things you need. A lot of books that are on reading lists aren’t available through our local library. There aren’t a lot of enrichment activities to take part in. And manipulatives, can often be expensive, especially if you can only find them at a “teacher’s” store.
JJ Heller’s Album “LOVED” Give Away
Today marks the release date of Christian music artist JJ Heller‘s latest album “Loved”. There’s no better way to describe it than excellent music with pensive lyrics. If you love music that carries a message, then this CD will appeal to you.
A number of songs stood out to me on the album. The lead track “If You Fall” especially did. It is a testimony to lasting relationships even when they are difficult to be a part of.

I was able to buy a couple of more things last month from their online site. Here’s what I got:
