Dot&Dot 1.25oz Travel Bottles
I no longer have to visit the trial sized aisle for hair care and lotion when I travel! I know, I know, you all are wondering why I even bring my own toiletries with me when I travel, I mean hotels supply shampoo, conditioner and lotion… but I like mine! And the older I get the more set I am in what I want to use when it comes to brand names and scents.
I’ve tried using refillable travel bottles in the past, and have always been disappointed because the plastic cracks or they are hard to fill or dispense. So I was quite excited when dot & dot sent me a set of their 1.25oz travel bottles to review.

Tax Tips For All Life Stages
It’s hard to believe that April 15th is just six weeks away. When my husband and I started working on our taxes this year, we were commenting on how so many things have changed for us from when we got married and filed our first tax return jointly.
From having a child, moving to another country, moving to another state, being self-employed and selling investments; filing our tax returns has never been a one-size-fits-all method. Over the years we have accumulated some tips, and as part of the Master Lock Live Secure Safety Squad and our March theme of “Tax Tips For All Life Stages,” I’d like to share a few of them with you. I hope you can use them to make tax time a little easier.
Tapas Dip
Why not add a little Mediterranean flair to your next party, or just the next time you feel like ‘dipping’? Here’s a great dip to pair with pita chips or tortillas. It’s even tasty to dip french fries in! If you’re not a fan of mayo you can easily substitute Greek yogurt instead. The fresh zing of the lemon juice perfectly complements the warmth of the paprika and garlic.
Italian Meatball Enchiladas
With the popularity of my Korean Beef Soft Tacos post I have been looking for more ways to do some ‘food fusion.’ I wanted to make something that was fast but still had a homecooked taste to it, and altered a recipe I found for enchiladas to put all the yumminess of Italian food with the inspiration of this Mexican classic. Using frozen meatballs means that you can put this dish together in no time at all, and it takes just 30 minutes to bake.
Tips for Organizing Your Plastic Food Containers
How does it happen? You put all the containers together with the lids and inevitably, it turns into a black hole of missmatched containers and lids (half of them missing) and in such disarray you can’t find a container and lid to match if your life depended on it.

Mini Mac & Cheese Pot Pies
Since my family’s palate is very sparse, I have to find new ways of serving up the things they’ll actually eat. I have a pretty good recipe for Chicken Pot Pie that I don’t mess with, but when I saw a magazine ad for Mini Chicken Pot Pies, I was itching to make some mini comfort food and thought “mmm… Mac & Cheese.”
With as many likes that my not staged, dark and grainy Instagram picture received, I figured I had to blog them 🙂
Chef Boyardee Rollback at Walmart

With winter almost behind us, I am looking for easy, scrumptious meals for my family. Less time in the kitchen means more time for other fun activities. Now through March 16, 2015, each 14.5-15 oz can of Chef Boyardee is on rollback at Walmart for only $0.75. Chef Boyardee raviolis, mac & cheese, and spaghetti and meatballs are just some of the varieties you can enjoy at a low price. Be sure to head to Walmart and stock up on this great deal while supplies last!
You Don’t Have To Be a Part of a Group to Love Groupon Coupons!
It took me a while to get on the Group Coupon train. There HAS to be a catch I always thought. Certainly you couldn’t really get such a great deal on some of these events, services or items. But a friend convinced me that there was nothing to lose, and she was right. Now I have another site to save money at in the Groupon family and that is Groupon Coupons.
Groupon Coupons is a bit different model than the Groupons you know and love, here you don’t have to buy anything- it’s a big database of FREE coupons! And it’s not just coupons- they also alert you about store sales and promotions.
