The Pool: aka The Spa (Giveaway)

OK, I know the leaves are turning colors but that doesn’t mean I can’t still be thinking about summer. Looking back here I noticed I never posted any pool pics.  And heaven knows we have in the past spent nearly everyday at the pool. In some places of the U.S. you would call it the “SPA”. Not because it’s anything spa-like, quite the opposite actually. It’s old and crowded but it has everything you would want in a pool. Including diving platforms which I do not gracefully play on.

So what are some of the accomplishments your kids managed over the summer in regards to the pool venue?  Did they ditch the wings and learn to swim?  Did they have free reign of the pool, shallow or deep and could they make a beautiful diving entrance?  Did they go down the big waterslides or tackle the diving boards?  Or did you have to bribe them with $1 (or more) to get them to just dip their toes in the water?

Well I can tell you, I don’t swim pool laps for fun, and there were days I had wished I had Ariel’s flippers Adapted from theDahlFamily.org under a CC 3.0 licenseto propel me just a bit further.

The littlest ones we know had a blast going down the mushroom slide at the waterpark and spraying in the fountains.

I’m not big on playing in the pool, I prefer to sit with my feet hanging in and kids don’t even think about  bugging me and splashing my hair. But, summer, the kids, and outings to the pool are a lot more fun when you play and splash and show your kids you can still do a couple flips.

Thank you to the “SPA” for summer fun.  I’m extraordinarily impressed with the life guards and how many kids they can keep an eye on at one time too!  After the snow comes and goes, we’ll visit again.

If you need some supplies for your pool or “spa”, or some fun toys to bring with you the next time you get a chance to slide, dive or splash, SwimTownPools.com is offering one of my readers a $25 gift card to use on their site.
