It’s been a week since I came home from the paradise that is Turks and Caicos where I attended the 2015 Social Media on the Sand Conference at Beaches. It was quite something to experience the Caribbean in all its glory at this family friendly all-inclusive resort, but the time there was even better as I was able to take part in it with a two of my best blogging buds The Nerd’s Wife and My Crazy Savings.
So I’ve been to the Caribbean before, but never like this! Beaches puts the island paradise on a whole other level.
If you’re wondering what the best part of a resort like Beaches is…
Yep, it’s most definitely that! The beach, the ocean, the absolute gorgeous scenery.
But there are plenty of other reasons you may want to visit Beaches resort in the Turks and Caicos. Their dining options cover everything from burgers and fries to jerk chicken to lobster.
Their french patisserie, Café de Paris, with warm chocolate chip cookies, crepes, éclairs and frozen coffees made to order was right up my alley!
Two unforgettable dining choices are Sky Restaurant, which is a rooftop restaurant (seen below from above, it’s where all the blue umbrellas are). Eating a gourmet meal while watching the sun set is a venue that can’t be beat.
The other restaurant that I could have eaten at again and again was Kimonos. This Japanese hibachi style restaurant not only had great food, but your chef prepares it right in front of you with plenty of entertainment.
Oh yeah, did I mention all-inclusive means as many drinks as you want 😉
They even deliver them to you on the beach!
If the beach isn’t your thing, or you want a change of pace, Beaches has plenty of swimming pools on property and they even have a water park complete with lazy river!
Families with young ones will LOVE the interaction at Camp Sesame and all the events that take place with the Sesame Street characters… okay who am I kidding?! Grown ups love it too!
The accommodations extend from a nicely situated hotel type rooms (two queen size beds, mini fridge, tv, xbox in room, bathroom with tub/shower combo) to butler suites. All in themed villages.
My friend got an upgrade and the suite they stayed in slept 7! So you can see that Beaches fits families of all sizes.
These are only a fraction of the photos I took while I was staying at Beaches in Turks and Caicos, I could share for days (and I just might! lol!). But my very favorite photo of all of them has to be this one, and I bet you know why.
I am going to the Caribbean one day. Those beautiful blue waters are calling my name! Love all your pictures! Can’t wait to read more!
Absolutely stunning! I have been to Jamaica and Punta Cana but Turks and Caicos is on my bucket list!!
Going here is on my bucket list. thank you for the beautiful pictures.
